Wayward

Wayward opened last August and is the third concept from the team behind The Way Back and American Grind. A responsibly-sourced and regionally-focused restaurant, Wayward believes in supporting small local purveyors and farmers and aims to "serve the kind of food they know the stories behind". The atmosphere is fresh, the staff detail-oriented, and you certainly don't want to skip the cocktails. Wayward is the kind of restaurant we want to stick around for a long time.

What You Need to Know

Reservations? Yes, make one here

Members Receive: 20% off of the total bill (alcohol included) for parties of up to four. Happy hour and pre-fixe Valentine's Day menu excluded.

Menu Must-haves: Lamb, short rib bolognese, and for brunch the Buddah bowl, house lox, and hasbrown benedict. View full menu here.

Neighborhood and Parking: Located on Little Raven Street across from Riverfront Park, Wayward offers valet parking beginning at 5:30pm for $5. Street parking throughout the neighborhood is all 2-hour.

Make a Night out of it: If the upcoming Winter Olympic Games don't already make you want to stand up and shout 'U.S.A.' for all to hear, maybe an Olympic-themed pop-up bar (located right around the corner from Wayward) will do the trick. That's right, the same space that housed the wildly popular Christmas-themed bar in December will soon transform into an Olympic-viewing headquarters for the entirety of The Games. Complete with South Korean bites and plenty of shot-skis, what better place to watch the competitive sport of curling among fellow patriots? Pro tip: The Olympic Bar doesn't take reservations so be sure to put your name on the list before sitting down for dinner at Wayward.

*Please note that, although you can access The Olympic Bar from inside Wayward, Feast Locally cards will not be valid at the pop-up.

Rhein Haus

Don't be deterred by its location, Rhein Haus has delicious German food that surpasses its more touristy LoDo neighbors. Having recently appeared on episode 6 of Top Chef Colorado, Rhein Haus boasts an impressive beer selection and all of your German-food favorites made really, really well. Between the house-made soft pretzels with cheddar fondue, currywurst, pork schnitzel, goat cheese spätzle, and apple strudel, please excuse us while we wipe our drool.

kaos Pizzeria

Located in a 100 year-old brick cottage on the historic block of Old South Pearl, Kaos maintains its prime real-estate for obvious reasons. Over 50lbs of fresh dough are mixed twice a day and every pizza is handmade, start to finish. The highest quality ingredients are supplied by local farmers and you can taste the difference! We love ya Kaos, don't ever change.
